Our mission projects to Clear Creek Elementary have included gift baskets to staff and faculty, as well as seasonal landscaping maintenance.
Clear Creek Elementary School
This year, Northview Church was presented with an incredible opportunity. Clear Creek Elementary has asked us to partner with them and the community to impact the lives of the children in our area. In September, 2011, we worked together to prepare the school grounds for the new school year. Through the hard work of 20+ volunteers, we were able to improve the condition of the school grounds. Weeds were pulled, bushes were trimmed, and much of the mulch was replenished in planting beds.
Through the efforts of many volunteers, we have provided gift baskets to the faculty and staff of Clear Creek. With baskets laden with muffins, cookies and other baked goods, we hope to show our love, support and encouragement to those folks at CCES who work so diligently to train and educate our children.
There are still more opportunities to come. The school needs volunteers to read to students and others who can help with grounds maintenance. The faculty and staff need encouragement. Our desire is to show our support, and to show them the love of Jesus in the process. Please be in prayer as to howyoumight be involved in this process. We believe in Missional Living, and partnering with Clear Creek Elementary is a great way to put that belief into action.
Honduras
This summer, Northview had a wonderful opportunity to visit Honduras and to live out our values there. We spent a week working with an elementary and high school. God showed up in a huge way. It is always amazing how God uses normal folks to carry out His will around the world. Being available and usable means that God has the ability to work.
Mission
Our mission: that every man, woman, and child would have the repeated opportunity to see, hear and respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our goal is that, as a body of believers, we live this mission on a daily basis.
Christ has called us to go. He has called us to be a light to those around us. Our values give us practical application to achieve that calling.
Our values: Truth, Community, Servanthood, Missional Living, and Sacrificial Giving.

Truth
We believe in the complete truth of God’'s Word. The Scriptures are inspired by God and infallible - the only absolute truth to build a life on. We believe in the sufficiency of Scripture. It drives our message, our teaching, and our personal study.
Truth is found in Jesus Christ. He alone is “the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” All parts of Scripture point us to Him. (John 8:32; John 14:6; 2 Timothy 4:12; Hebrews 4:12)
Community
We believe in relationships. We find encouragement, fellowship, and accountability in the community of the church. Together we desire and learn to pattern our lives after Christ. By spending time and living our lives together in small group Bible study, in home fellowships, in coffee shops and city streets, we build community and serve others. (Romans 5:1-2; Hebrews 10:25; Ephesians 4:11-16)
Servanthood
We serve others. Jesus exemplified service by washing the feet of His disciples. In the same spirit we maximize our God-given abilities to serve others as Christ has served us. (Matthew 20:28; Luke 22:26-27; 2 Corinthians 13:4; John 13; Philippians 2:1-8)
Missional Living
Jesus commanded us to embrace the world with His love and His gospel. Through missional living we take this love with the message of the gospel to the entire world. God has strategically and purposefully placed us where we are, that we might make Him known to the world. We are called to be missionaries at home and abroad.
Missional living is displayed through outreach, local, national, and international mission projects, through our giving to support missions, and by daily living out God'’s truth in our lives for the world to see. (2 Corinthians 5:20; Luke 19:10; Matthew 28:19-20; Matthew 5:16; Acts 1:8)
Sacrificial Giving
Jesus lived a sacrificial life. Following His example, we commit to sharing all of our resources to further the Kingdom of God in this world. As stewards of time, talent, finances, truth, and relationships, our lives are to be spent for the glory of God, in service to others.
We live sacrificially. Rather than following the selfish nature of the culture at large, we believe lives lived sacrificially will demonstrate the sincerity and power of our faith. (Philippians 2:1-11)
